Blackbird Control

Blackbirds are generally all black except for a yellow eye-ring and bill, though the adult females and youth tend to have mainly dark-brown plumage. The bird's song is rich and pleasant. Blackbirds are omnivorous, feeding upon many types of insects, earthworms, berries, and fruits. The species' nests are cup-shaped, and though they are lined with mud, they are rather cleanly made. The main predator is the domestic cat – but foxes and predatory birds, such as the sparrowhawk, also prey on the blackbird.
